This specimen was difficult to get good spore photos. Also the spore size doesn't match exactly with the referenced field guide. However all other aspects match. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Cyathus striatus.
