Spore width: 3 - 4.5 microns

Spore shape: spindle to club shaped

Numerous. Scattered on decaying leaves. Related species differ mainly in color, but all look like delicate umbrellas. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Marasmius siccus.
