Spore width: 4.2 -3.2 microns

Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Lentinellus flabelliformis. See Dr. Andrew Methven's attached notes. 1) Basidiospores amyloid. 2) Pleurocystidia arising from laticifers or gloeoplerous hyphae in subhymenium. 3) Lamellae trama interwoven; Lamellae edges serrate. 4) Pileus trama not gelatinized. 5)Hyphae clamped. 6) Pileipellis a trichodermium of erect hyphae (suprapellis).
