Spore length: 7.5 - 12 microns
Spore width: 3 -4 microns
Spore color: clear
Spore texture: fine to coarse warts
Spore shape: elliptical to sole shaped, somewhat clavate
Spore print color: white
Chemical reaction: n/d
Spore photo shows one of the Crepidotus (host) spores. Spore print was not obtained. The spores were deposited directly on a glass slide from the voucher specimen in the field. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Hypomyces tremellicola.
